vTF-77 Maintains a Joint Training Aggressor Forces Sqn. They are dedicated to providing PvP aggressor training for our task force. Pilots in JTAF stand in as OpFor during campaigns and one-off missions.

JTAF comprises a mixed-wing, flying red aircraft, including the F-16C Viper, F-4E Phantom II, Mirage F-1, and MiG-21 bis as primary airframes with the availability to use what's needed to fill a specific aggressor role such as the Mi-24P Hind and MiG-19P Farmer.

JTAF is currently commanded by LtCol "Topov" Zeigler (CO) and LtCol "Dragon" Libke (XO).

Available Slots and Requirements

Slots Available

12 Full-Time Aggressor Pilots
- Minimum of 50% attendance
- Opportunity to dual-qualify on other airframes within the Task Force.
RESERVE SLOTS - OPEN
- Members who cannot make 50% of our Tuesday/Thursday training nights will be transferred to Active RESERVE status. Reserve pilots are always welcome to continue flying with the Squadron and the wing

Membership Requirements

Minimum age of 18
Regular attendance to Tuesday and Thursday training nights at 2000 PST
- Life comes first. If you are unable to attend for any reason, all we ask is you notify your squadron leadership via the Leave of Absence channel. You will never be penalized for missing a night if you put in a LoA
Willingness to self-study, read provided materials, and schedule times with Instructor Pilots
Fortitude to sit through dad jokes, adult humor, and assorted shenanigans
Hands-on Throttle and Stick (HOTAS)
Head-tracking solution OR a Virtual Reality headset
Ability to use Discord and SRS (or at least willingness to learn)
Ownership of the Syria, Persian Gulf, Supercarrier, and relevant aggressor modules
- NTTR Map is also recommended
